I am renting, does this mean the owner covers everything while I am residing in the home?

The owner is responsible to cover any items that are related to a service issue no fault of your own (ex. leaky pipes, AC is not working, garbage disposal has stopped working, broken window due to weather conditions, gutter cleaning, etc.) You as the tenant are responsible for changing the furnace filter every 2- 3 months (if the furnace stops working and it is found to be due to a dirty filter, the repair cost will be yours). Ensuring that all light bulbs are in working order, not disposing anything that is not supposed to be down the toilets/drains such as baby wipes, feminine products, etc.(if a service is called in and it is found to be tenant damage, please note this will be your repair cost). It is VERY important to call in any issue as soon as it is noticed to avoid further damage from occurring.

I sent an email and/or left a message for my Property Manager and have not heard back.

Please allow 24 hours for a response to any calls or emails.
