The next steps
For Rent
When your home is ready for showings, place the “For Rent” sign in in the front yard. If your community does not allow a yard sign, place it in a front window
A lockbox
Place the lockbox on the front door (unless otherwise discussed with your Marketing Concierge). Instructions for the lockbox will be provided. In the lockbox, place only one copy of the keys needed for the main entry. Keep a set of keys for yourself.
Items to leave in your kitchen drawer:
- Additional keys
- Mailbox key, mailbox number, mailbox location
- Garage keys and/or openers
- HOA rules and regulations
- Appliance manuals/warrantly information
- Alarm information
- Lockbox return box (if applicable)
- Any other information you think may be important for the tenant to know about the home
